Warehouse iconography
Re-design and production of 300+ product-specific vector icons

Background
The project at Consafe Logistics started as a need to replace the whole set of existing system icons with a new design. This project was started by a colleague who set the general guidelines and specifications.
Brief
The project required re-designing an existing set of system icons and reviewing their usage prior to delivery.
Result
300+ old icons were re-designed following the Material Icon Outlined style with rounded corners with a standard line width of 2px. I adjusted the corner radius' so that the icons felt “soft” but did not lose their purpose. Many Consafe-icons were very specific. When possible, I tried to create more general icons and exported them in SVG for development.

From sketches to vector
In the pictures, you can see the process of designing an icon for a "material handling area" which is usually an area around the gates where goods are being unloaded or loaded onto trucks. Visualize you see the development from sketches to the final icon. Below, you may see the snapshot off all icons designed for the project.
